Fire Station 1570 St Hwy 1654

Light Plant

This light unit was acquired in 2006 for use to provide nearly 6000 watts of light for emergency scene operations. The unit has a 30’ telescopic light tower with 4-1500 watt sodium vapor light fixtures supplied by a 6KW Onan generator, powered by a Kubota diesel engine

 

Engine 316 is a 2006 E-One commercial Freightliner 2-door 3-crew cab, purchased from Vehicle Systems, Inc in Lexington, Ky.  It has a  ladder rack containing extension, roof and attic ladders as well as 2 pre-connected 1-3/4"  cross-lays of 200 feet each with additional 2000’ of       2-1/2", hose for supply and attack. Fire suppression is supplied by a Hale 1250 gallon per minute pump, a 1000 gallon water tank . Engine 316 is the first due engine

 

Rescue 331 is a 1985 Dodge that was acquired by the department From Kentucky Division of Forestry it is a military surplus vehicle on loan through the Federal Excess Property Program Rescue 331 is used to First Respond to medical emergencies in support of our county's EMS service and with a full complement of hydraulic tools, air bags, cribbing, rope’s and immobilization/medical equipment to work rescue related emergencies.

 

Engine 315 is a 1975 F700 pumper/tanker with a 750 GPM mid-ship pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. 2 pre-connected 1-3/4” lays off the back of 200 feet each and additional 2-1/2” hose for supply and attack. Eng 315 was purchased from the Cannonsburg Fire Dept.  Engine 315 is the second due engine.

 

Brush 341  is a 1972 Dodge 4X4 and is a military surplus vehicle on loan to the fire department by the Kentucky Division of Forestry through the Federal Excess Property Program. This unit carries 6 personnel, is equipped with a 300 gal tank and 100 GPM pump. Brush 341 is primarily used in Wildland Fire Suppression activities and  for structure fires in the Hard to get rural areas of the district

 

Engine 351 serves as our all-area Haz-Mat. unit Eng 351 is a 1983 Emergency One pumper on a Ford 8000 diesel-powered commercial chassis. It has a 1000 gpm mid-ship pump and a 500 gallon water tank. Eng 351 has a rated seating capacity of 5 with 3 inside the main cab and 2 in the rear-facing jump-seats.  Besides its Haz.-Mat. responses, E351 is fully equipped as a Class A pumper and serves as a 3rd out on major structure fires.

Tanker 321 is a 1985 International that was acquired by the department From Kentucky Division of Forestry it is a military surplus vehicle on loan through the Federal Excess Property Program. This unit carries 3 personnel, is equipped with a 1600 gal tank and 150 GPM pump.  Tanker 321 is the third due unit out on major structure fires
