"Norton Branch Fire Department and the Kentucky Division Of Forestry responded to a report of a wildland Fire on Wilson Creek Rd on Wed. 4/16/08. The fire was about 40+ acres with 9 homes and buildings setting in the fire path. It took about 5 hours to put a Fire Line around the fire. The Forestry worked into the night to make sure the fire was out".
